When I first registered the sugarlessgirl.com domain name I was primarily inspired by my love of a song of the same name by the Japanese musical duo known as capsule.

After thinking on the title for a while I also felt that the concept of a girl being "sugarless" represented the type of personality I have. I'm more of a tomboy in the sense that I'm usually blunt and never sugarcoat my words.

Even though I gravitate to a lot of colorful, frilly, girly things, my personality isn't "sweet" or "feminine." I like to think of is this way; Girls are said to be made of "sugar and spice, and everything nice," well I'm definitely spicy... but not very sweet.

I'm also not a big sugar or sweets fan, and I actively avoid it on a daily basis as a matter of personal preference. So, all together, you get the concept of "Sugarless Girl" and hence why I chose it for my blog title. :)
